Artist profile: Maja Wrońska

I’m not on Tumblr but my Special Someone is, and he showed me a beautiful, atmospheric painting of people with umbrellas at the Eiffel Tower, by architect and illustrator Maja Wrońska.

Wrońska works primarily in watercolors and paints mostly architecturally-complicated buildings – both feats in themselves and particularly impressive combined. (See her tutorial here.)

She also manages to find the time to make art when she’s not at her day-job – being an architect!

Below are my favorite paintings by Wrońska (click on them to go to their deviantArt pages):

Winter in Paris
Blue Jays
Saint Petersburg
Clock
Santa Maria del Fiore
Evening in Poznan
Woods
Richard Parker
