The Respendent Quetzal lives in southern Mexico and Central America and is so cute and pretty!
Just image google it and you’ll see – the male has gorgeous green feathers, really long tail-feathers, and a striking red breast. The female doesn’t have the long tail-feathers or red breast but her green feathers are still very pretty. Males and females have a pretty egalitarian relationship when it comes to offspring – normally they are loners, but when there are eggs involved, they both take turns tending to them.
Love it!
